Alternative (Renewable) Energy: Bull-ish or Bull-Crap?

Positive sentiment around alternative energy, specifically renewables, has been strong. Are they really the cheap or are they the newest way to pull money out of consumer pockets?

You know we don’t want to waste your time so let’s get to answering the question “Is alternative energy bull-ish or bull-crap?” There is only one issue - we are answering the wrong question.
